Larson captures GOP nomination for District 122
Former Bexar County Commissioner Lyle Larson was the runaway winner in his bid to replace longtime incumbent Frank Corte Jr., as the Republican nominee for Texas House District 122.
Texas Association of Realtors Endorses Texas Political Candidates
On March 2, 2010, the State of Texas will hold its Primary Election. The Texas Republicans and Democrats will select their nominees based on the outcomes of primary votes held on March 2, 2010, which is the first Tuesday in March.) If a runoff election is needed, it will be held on April 13, 2010, the second Tuesday in April.
Recommendations in legislative races
The winner of the GOP primary will face Democrat Masarrat Ali in November.
Republicans in Texas House District 119, which stretches from the county’s northeastern suburbs to the South Side, will be choosing between Juan J. Hinojosa and Michael E. Holdman. The winner will face Democratic Rep. Roland Gutierrez.
